JESSIKA JANKERT is a playwright, screenwriter, and director with experience in writing and directing for a variety of media, such as film, TV, podcast, theatre, and live shows. 

Jessika Jankert is a screenwriter based in Gothenburg. Together with Lovisa Löwhagen she created and wrote the TV-drama Hashtag that premiered at SVT in 2016. The series was nominated for best drama at Prix Europa, C21 drama awards and the Rose d'Or. Jessika and Lovisa were head-writers for four seasons of the TV-drama Lyckoviken (int. title Hammarvik) based on an original concept by the best-selling novelist Camilla Läckberg, released in 2020 on Viaplay.

Jessika’s feature film debut was as a co-writer for the film So damn easy going that premiered in the main competition at Göteborg Filmfestival in 2022. For the TV-drama Strandhotellet, Viaplay 2023, she wrote two episodes.

Jessika developed and wrote the original script for the feature film Forever, directed by Anders Hazelius and produced by SF Studios, that premiered in cinemas in July 2023.  It won the audience award and the special jury price at Zlin film festival 2023. Forever is released on Netflix in November.
