Halva Malmö består av killar som dumpat mig will be adapted to a Netflix TV series, starring Carla Sehn (“Love & Anarchy”). Produced by Jarowskij. Episode writers include Amanda and her partner in all things creative Adina Romare.
Apart from working as a novelist, Amanda Romare creates, writes and produces tv series and podcasts together with Adina Romare. Recent work includes producing the short film “LIV” by Hillevi Gustafsson, starring Sigrid Johnson, who received a Guldbagge (Swedish Academy Award) for Best Leading Actress in 2022.
The duo has created, written and produced the SVT series Änglavakt(Guardian Angel)released in 2020. The series features Charlie Gustafsson (“Vår tid är nu”/”The Restaurant”) in the lead role.
In 2018, they produced The London Necropolis Railway, an original podcast drama, starring actor Alex Lawther (“The End of the F***ing World”). The story takes place in London’s underground system where an organisation moves the souls of the dead out of London to avoid the city getting overrun with hauntings.
Amanda is also writing a new novel, title TBD, to be published by Natur & Kultur.
