LINNEA SCHUMACHER is a trained criminologist and conducts research on intimate partner violence among young people, with a special focus on perpetrators, at the Department of Criminology at Malmö University.
Before transitioning to criminology, Linnea worked for many years in film and TV production, both in Sweden and internationally.
In September 2023, Linnea made her debut as an author with her suspense novel "I bergets skugga" (“In the shadow of the mountain”) set in Arild, southern Sweden, where Linnea was born and raised. The book revolves around political power play(s), friendship, and secrets from the past.
