JACOB SETH FRANSSON is a director and screenwriter. He has worked as a director on the award-winning hit comedy series “Solsidan/The Sunny Side” for TV4, a show he co-created, as well as “Kontoret/The Office” (Swedish remake of “The Office”) and “Familjen Holstein-Gottorp”. Jacob also produces the annual Swedish Comedy Awards for FLX, broadcast on Kanal 5.

At the moment Jacob is working as a creator and head screenwriter for a series based on true events, the series is in development at a production company. He is also working as a screenwriter for a tv series for a major streamer.

After ten years working as a journalist he started writing jokes for panel shows and later comedy series. Jacob writes in a wide range of genres and for different audiences. He has created and written many hours of Swedish comedy but the last years he has also worked with and developed projects leaning more toward the drama genre.
