SIMEN ALSVIK is a seasoned director and showrunner. His filmography contains international hits like the two Netflix original series “Lilyhammer” and the Nordic mythology “Ragnarok”.

His recent work includes the thriller series “The Nest”, which he directed for BBC One, the series achieved sky-high ratings and universal critical acclaim, as well as being lead director for “Protection”, a six-part drama that follows the story of a detective in charge of a present-day Witness Protection branch. The series, produced by New Pictures, stars Siobhan Finneran (Happy Valley) and is slated to air on ITV in 2024.

Simen has won multiple awards for his work both nationally and internationally.
