MÅNS HERNGREN is a Stockholm based Swedish director and screenwriter. He began his early career in the mid 70s as an actor and began to write and direct comedies for television in the early 80s. Together with his companion Hannes Holm he started directing feature films 1994.
During the last three decades, Måns has written and directed numerous feature films and tv-series, resulting in box office hits such as “Adam & Eva”, “The Reunion”, “Solsidan”, and “The Swimsuit Issue”.
In 2016 Måns worked as a director on the feature “The 101-year-old Man Who Skipped Out on the Bill and Disappeared”. The feature is currently under development for a Hollywood movie starring Will Ferell.
Måns has mainly been oriented in the comedy genre but wouldn’t mind exploring more dramatic stories and characters in the future.
