HENRIK GEORGSSON is a prize-winning and highly respected Swedish director of theatrical feature films, TV-drama series and documentaries.
He is best known for his outstanding work with the international hit-series “Bron / The Bridge” which has received several international awards and nominations, including winning the Prix Europe for Best TV Drama, Dagger Best International TV Drama, Golden Nymph at Monte Carlo TV Festival and receiving a BAFTA Nomination for Best International TV Drama.
Combining great performance from actors with a strong visual ambition in a wide range of genres – Henrik’s work ranges from from colorful and funny drama for kids, teenage love, warm feel-good drama to chilling suspenseful crime series and emotionally strong drama series.
His latest work include the 6 hour long true crime documentary series “Knutby - I blind tro / Pray Obey Kill” for HBO (a documentary about a Swedish small-town congregation that turned into a sect with fatal results) and the British crime drama series “Grace” based on the bestselling Roy Grace novels by Peter James. Henrik is currently directing “Vaka” for Amazon Prime.
