The couple has been shot dead with a bow and arrow. The case turns out to have links to suspicious areas in Marbella's run-down port quarter and is connected to terrifying events in the past.

A controversial Spanish prosecutor, married to a Swede, is found murdered in a ravine in the mountain village of Ronda, above Marbella on the sunny coast of Spain.
The teacher Lisa Hagel, who has just moved to Spain from Stockholm, is drawn into the investigation. Lisa was suddenly dumped by her husband after thirty years of marriage and has bought a house in a small mountain village to try to start over with a new life.
At a flamenco class, she meets the police officer and widower Hector Correa, who also has a painful past. Together they begin to unravel the mysterious murder of the prosecutor.
Soon another murder occurs, and the clues lead them all the way back to General Franco and Spain's bloody history.
REVIEWS
“Fast-paced and with unexpected twists – this bodes well for the series. The joy of writing exudes from between the lines and the historical links to the Franco era provide both credibility and a serious tone to life on the Costa del Sol.”
