Patrik Gyllström is a screenwriter and director with over a decade of experience in film and television. Patrik was the creator of Hjerson, a contemporary whodunit series based on an Agatha Christie character, which aired on TV4 (Sweden), Topic (USA), and Channel 4 Walter Presents (UK). The series was praised for its fresh take on the detective genre.
He directed two episodes of Knutby – Kristi Brud, a compelling true-crime drama based on the infamous Knutby case that shocked Sweden in the early 2000s. The series explores the events within a small Pentecostal congregation, delving into themes of faith, manipulation, and power dynamics.
